We switched to Helixco from the "market leading" T&M software about a year ago at Atmos, and honestly, it's been the best breakup we never regretted. The old software felt like it was built by someone who genuinely hated restorers. It was clunky, slow, buggy and reports that looked like they were formatted in 2004. Helix is faster and easier for our office and techs to actually use in the field without a PhD in software navigation. To top it off the reports it spits out look polished enough that our clients give us constant positive feedback. Wanted to share a new tool with you, Helix Co.’s ROM Wizard. I got a call for a fire today. The gentleman had very high expectations of how quickly we could return a ROM or an estimate to him. I went into the Helix Co. ROM Wizard, first time. I learned about it at CORE last week in San Antonio, Texas.
Guys, impressive. I was able to build a ROM that I actually felt comfortable with within about five minutes for this house fire. That’s a pretty hard thing to accomplish, especially when you know how complex household or residential fires are.
Helix Co.’s ROM Wizard, I think it’s a tool that’s going to change the restoration industry. I highly advise you to check it out. Mike Allred, full of information. We got to see him speak last week. Fantastic gentleman.
